We had a blast in Guadalajara! As the 2025 IFES World Summit came to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an unforgettable few days of learning, sharing, celebrating—and looking ahead.
This year’s Summit was special for many reasons. Not only did IFES celebrate the milestone of its 40 years –that is four decades of connection, collaboration and growth—but it did so in one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in Latin America.
As for OCTAPUS, this was the 5th time our company participated in IFES conference gatherings. While more than 200 industry leaders attended the Guadalajara meeting from all over the world, this was also the largest Greek delegation ever, with 6 Greek companies of constructors and organisers attending the event!
Working alongside exhibition experts from all over the world, we had the chance to network with the up and coming LATAM (Latin America) region where the future of our industry lies. Under the umbrella of “Today’s Learnings, Tomorrow’s Sustainability!”, the Summit focused on how we take what we’ve learned over the years and channel it into real, sustainable impact. Across three packed days, talks took us deep into the topics that matter—from the practical role of AI in our work, to how we engage younger generations, to what genuine sustainability really looks like in the events and exhibitions space.
We would like to thank the local host committee that made our stay exceptional and also thank the companies who joined the event for their fruitful input that brought inspiration to our joint projects.
